While your dentist focuses entirely on restoring your oral health, your dedicated CRNA is focused exclusively on keeping you safe, comfortable, and peacefully asleep. You will benefit from the amnesic effects of the sedation, meaning you will simply fall into a deep, restful sleep and wake up when everything is finished—with absolutely no memory of the procedure.

Oral Sedation (Calming Comfort)

If just the thought of walking into a dental office makes your heart race, oral sedation is an excellent choice. You will take a prescribed, calming medication before you even arrive. By the time you sit in the chair, you will feel deeply relaxed and drowsy. While you are technically awake and can respond to questions, you will be in a state of total tranquility, and most patients remember very little, if anything, about the appointment.
